Vineyard :  Aged for 12 months in 25% new French oak. The wine was made with minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing the organic Zinfandel fruit to express its signature depth and richness. It was blended with a touch of Petite Sirah for a little extra perfume, colour and complexity in the glass.

Vinification :  Organically farmed, Mediterranean climate. The 2016 vintage brought welcome winter and spring rains to Mendocino, which segued beautifully into a growing season with cooler than average daytime highs and cold nights, giving Zinfandel grapes ample time to develop complex layers of flavour on the vine.
